The LoCo is lostcoastoutpost.com, a blog owned by Patrick Cleary’s Lost Coast Communications and operated, I think, by Hank Sims and Kym Kemp. It has become the de facto Humboldt internet news outlet. FWIW, I rather doubt that either Hank Sims or Kym Kemp are or were Heraldo or part of Heraldo.
Mitch is still here, but no longer posting much. My masochism has limits. I’ve opened my account to some others, including Kathy. Eric has his own account.
I’ve seen it happen many times. To myself also. When you dedicate yourself 100% to fighting the good fight for what is right, certain others take delight in wearing you down. Your contributions here to what is sane and humane, Mitch, have been deeply appreciated.
On a personal note, I’d like to thank you very much for the advice you gave me a few years ago about finding the right audience for the things I wanted to say. I followed your advice and the results have been very positive. I’m a happier guy as a result and quite a few other people have benefitted from my new, positive approach to life. That’s something you did.

Keep writing Mitch, you don’t have to continue casting pearls before swine. There’s plenty of venue’s for good writing that don’t involve deflecting insults from unidentified agitators.
On another note, there was some confusion about a post from a couple of weeks ago about “Irrelevant anonymity,” I was referring to the “new-boss” Just to clarify. I posted it in the wrong thread.

REALLY? From what I see, it looks like all they do is reproduce or maybe I should say regurgitate press releases.
From what I see, the SoHum Parlance II is the main competition, especially since Forest Queen signed on……LMAO!!!
He goes by “Mitch” now, I think. He made a comment comment to that effect in another thread, anyway.
