2010 pot crop trickles in

One Good Year is a documentary-in-the-making about Humboldt County’s famous outdoor marijuana crop.

Film maker Mikal Jakubal is capturing a season in the lives of a few local pot growers who struggle with the trials of daily life and unpredictable weather while trying to pull off a copious crop.

The very first buds of the season are now being harvested according to Jakubal.

“Two of my film subjects have started harvesting a few small, early-ripening plants already,” Jakubal said on Twitter. “The main harvest won’t be for 2 or 3 weeks.”

Poor babies. At the end they will extract a few million and while the Humboldt economy teeters on the brink and our schools, hospitals and roads crumble, they will blow off their income taxes. Like every other pot grower.

Right and next you are gonna say most growers don’t drive jacked up 4Runners, have 14 base head bey-bey kids, and shoot off guns at everything.

You gotta start recognizing the real weed growing experts are the people who got no idea how to grow weed. Listen to them, they will tell you all about it. The people who grow weed obviously know nothing as they never run their mouth about it and we all know he who jacks their jaw the most is the expert.
