Christmas Haiku

Christmas haiku post
Neal asked for it days ago
Here it is but late

[Guest Haiku by Neal Latt]:

Woke up this morning
Rushed over to my laptop
No haiku.  Let-down.

Coal in my stocking
Verses bubbling out my head
No where to go now.

Trudging through the snow
Arkleyville cold, desolate:
Lance, Brady, Newman.

    Representatives of who
    Have we lost our teeth?

8:58 you have no appreciation for an ancient art form. Of course, you could question whether what we do to it is ART, but that’s another argument altogether. Relax. Enjoy. Maybe some wine with your Haiku?

    Sit still and hear it
as the Haiku form sings its song
    truth is unfolding
