Continued public scuffling over Hobart’s name and image just seems petty, counterproductive and so against the spirit of what I thought this event was supposed to be about … fun.

I feel like we’re watching a super slow motion train wreck.

There will also be a Haunted House at 2019 Campton Road on Halloween Night (Monday the 31) beginning at 6:30. The kids from EHS drama club and their friends are helping build and operate it. Pop by and bring the kids, there will be a safe route out of the house or a route out to the graveyard and haunted forest. You’ll be dieing to get in. Family plots available.

I went to one of Hobart’s parties back in the old days, good times for sure.

Justin Brown seems like an enormous egomaniac who is only concerned with controlling the race and puffing himself, to the detriment of all the rest of those who, rather selflessly, just want to see the race go on and prosper. For that reason, I won’t be attending his Halloween function.

Justin – you must’ve missed the kindergarten lesson about “playing well with others.” Get a clue!

Combining pleas to “play well with others” with baseless personal attacks, isn’t very convincing.

“Baseless”? You don’t read the papers, do you?

  7. October 25, 2011 at 2:11 pm

I thought it was about a costume party…

It will be a lot of fun for a low price even if you don’t care where the money is going.

I attended one of Hobart’s parties at the Eureka Inn. The theme was
World Traveler’s. It was the best party ever! Everyone went all out and put a lot of time into their costumes. There’s nothing more fun than a
    masquerade party.

Whoever it is that likes to post as Anonymous here has certainly taken up the challenge to be the nastiest, most negative poster on the HH. He/she/it sure puts HiFi to shame……uless, of course….?

    Typo (again!)
It’s supposed to read “unless, of course…”

5’9″ and about 175 lbs. Not really “enormous” ?

    “egomaniac” hmm maybe?

I do think I am a good musician and a fairly good artist.
and it’s your ego (hopefully healthy) that gives you the drive
to go out and do stuff like music and art and to have parties.

“baseless” come on now…i Am a Bassist! I suppose my bass might sometimes be in the next room, even then tho, its so near-by…. i wouldn’t really call that bassless.

now as far as “puffing” myself….i AM intrigued…
.I’ve been trying to work this one out in my mind.
    two things —> “puffing himself:”
to me–> puffing = smoking [like a cigarette]
    and –> himself = myself.
so if that were possible (.. last time i tried…errr)
… heck yeah i’d be concerned with it! —>At least once a day!
but unfortunately at this point, to do that,
it requires a “fluffer” oooops, i mean a “puffer”

oh and as far as the race goes, i’m just trying to protect the trade-service marks and copyrights my father so passionately created and devoted most of his life to.

This was fun, thank you anonymous!

now about this great party we are having tomorrow night….
we WILL see you ALL there…..RIGHT?!?!
    That MEANS YOU TOO ANONYMOUS

    Sincerely,
    justin hobart brown
