Spring Forward

Spring Equinox is not quite upon us, but the time to turn your clocks ahead is now — specifically 2:00am on 3/11/12. You’re welcome.

Do young people own clocks that require a manual time change, or is that task automatically assumed by the Borg?

For the CEO class, those jobs are done by The Help.

would the “help” just like to sit around, smoke dope, and watch TV all day, instead of doing real work?

Quit your yappin’ and finish with my clocks Walt.

I’m no youngster but I do have an atomic clock that changes automatically. Pretty cool.

I am so stuck in the last century. 18 clocks (including vehicles) “corrected” to the new time this morning…any yes I counted them. DST is a living hell for we, the anally retentive.

And then there are those of us that spend a week trying to remember if we already changed that clock, or if we’d just tried and failed because we just couldn’t figure out how.

Refiguring out how to set the vehicle clock is my least favorite, but followed closely by the discord between my internal clock and time change.

There’s a guy out in front of the courthouse with a “fuck the clock” sign.

Here we are, bitchin’ about having to reset our two dozen clocks and never thinking even once about all the poor people in the world who don’t even own one clock!

    Oh, thank god.
The clock in my wife’s fancy sorts car will now be correct again, and I won’t have to pretend to try to change it when we’re out on a drive.

Assimilation is inevitable. Resistance to spring forward futile
