The Guardian, a leading British newspaper with an internationally-read web site, has written up ten budget beach hotels on the California coast.  Humboldt’s in two of them.

¨Meanwhile, those who supported a longer look at LNG —among them future City Council candidate Rex Bohn — decried the “mob rule” that they said killed the deal and worried about the chilling effect that episode might have on future businesses interested in setting up shop in the area.¨ NCJ Dec 23, 2004 (Yet WalMart is here anyway)
So if the people speak against a project, it´s ¨Mob Rule¨.

Is Rex Bohn going to have 2 elected positions at once? Looks like someone didn’t is not current on their rabies shots.

Talk to the people who own or thought they owned property there. Ron Paul likes to crow about property rights. If your roof springs a leak in the middle of the night before you can get in out of the rain you must first get a building permit. Conservatives are right about one thing. The system is screwed up beyond all belief. The problem is they’re still trying to fix it. Give it up! The constitution was written in a time when there was this thing called the frontier. People are still finding gold, but all the land is already under contract. Mitt Romney hates Europe. Why? I’m sure he’s European on both sides of his family. He probably brags about it. You know those mormons. Anyway, why can’t we all just get along? It has something to do with life, liberty and the pursuit of property.
