Third Presidential Debate: Boca’s Revenge

It’s the fate of the entire condo.  Discuss.

  1. October 22, 2012 at 4:03 pm

For a “fight” that’s much more real, watch World Wrestling Federation’s Monday Night Raw at 8pm. Obummer and Mittens, both bought and paid for by the same monied interests, all fake. In rasslin’, sometimes they really do get hurt.

Maybe you could explain what this cryptic post means?

  3. Mitch

    One word, grackle. Seinfeld.

  4. Joseph Byrd
    October 22, 2012 at 4:17 pm

Evidently it means it doesn’t matter who wins the election, since both parties are political-money whores. If you are a woman, an educator, a student, elderly, uninsured, poor, or a union member, however, it does matter. The radical right now has a 5-4 majority on the supreme court, and Ruth Bader Ginsberg has pancreatic cancer, and will almost certainly die in the next term. You really sure you don’t care who’s President then?

  5. Mitch
    October 22, 2012 at 4:24 pm

Wowza, Joseph, that’s a whole lotta inferring from one word.

Attention, California: DO NOT JOKE ABOUT THIS ELECTION! Even though you are not a swing state, and Obama will win the state’s electoral college barring God getting all confused and doing a miracle for the wrong team, DO NOT JOKE ABOUT THIS ELECTION! Put on your sackcloth and ashes, bring your scourges, and vote O!!

  6. October 22, 2012 at 4:27 pm

. The radical right now has a 5-4 majority on the supreme court, …..

Yep. The bastards ruled most of Obamacare constitutional.

There’s a simple explanation, Fred. Roberts’ mother threatened to disown him. If only Scalia had human parents.

  8. October 22, 2012 at 4:33 pm

NDAA, 30,000+ drones over America, $16 Trillion in debt and escalating, a currency artificially propped up and ready to tank, endless spending for more wars without end, every email, fax and phone call monitored without warrant, and not a dime’s worth of difference between the two sock puppets on these and other critical issues.

And if you think the framework for martial law is being set up for brown-skinned people of Middle Eastern descent, are you in for a rude awakening…

  9. Mitch
    October 22, 2012 at 4:39 pm

Yup. Not a dime’s worth of difference. Except for one being for universal health care, higher taxes on billionaires, a safety net, abortion rights, saving the US auto industry, and treating gays as if they were people, while the other is against universal health care, for lower taxes on billionaires, against a safety net, against abortion rights, wanted Detroit to go bankrupt, and realizes gays are subhuman.

But other than that, they’re just two sock puppets, same thing entirely. But don’t forget, one’s got FABULOUS, totally Presidential hair and the other is not-lily white.

rom-NEE!! YOU ESS AY!! YOU ESS AY!! Gimme an L, gimme an I, gimme an A, gimme an R. What’s that spell? Romney? What’s that spell? ROMNEY? I can’t hear you… ROMNEY!!!

  10. October 22, 2012 at 5:02 pm

Ask the people of Greece how all those promised social programs are workin’ out for them…And when America is foreclosed upon, it won’t be purty…

  11. Mitch
    October 22, 2012 at 5:04 pm

I’ll trust Obama over Romney any day. Thing is, every time I look at Romney, I get the sense he’d actually be happy to see people starve.

  12. jr
    October 22, 2012 at 5:21 pm

Seems like just yesterday that we had another Romney running for President, but that Romney had to drop out after he told the media he was brainwashed in Vietnam. But if Mitt ends up winning will he ride to the Capitol in a Pacer? Or will it be a Javelin?

    Avocation.

  16. October 22, 2012 at 7:18 pm

Gosh guys, both have no power whatsoever outside the committees who set the agenda AND present the budget. I hate to destroy any any illusion of “Paradise Forever” w either but both will continue the policies of “you just kill them all” in keeping with Meryl Streep in the film “Postcards From The Edge” whereby after her drug overdose and commitment a to hosp and in a fight w her “boyfriend” whereby she makes same accusation save the topic was not death but rather “romance”. It was true, the accusation and the story based on a well known celebrity I will not mention as she has suffered quite enough I am certain you gents would agree. If any of you feel better why, I have done my part for humanity today. Ya’ll have a magnificent night now you hear? :-)

Mitt sure is a rambler. Same talking points over and over in different orders. Romney seeme to be endorsing Obama’s foreign policies while claiming them as his own and opposing Obama’s foreign policy. Sheesh I was getting dizzy.

  18. Terry L. Clark

I’m sure the Pakistani mother who just saw her son’s head blown apart by one of Obama’s Predator Drones feels better when Obama flashes his frowny-face. It’d be a completely different situation were Romney to do the same thing and flash a happy-face.

The best part was where Obama schooled Romney on the difference between military needs today as compared to 1916.

IT sure will be nice to have a new start. Just like when Carter got his eviction notice. Not that Romney is a Reagan, we will see. I thought Reagan was liberal too. What is certain, is Obama has fucked up the country as much a Carter.

Look at the disaster Obummer has been the last four years. How can anyone even think of voting for four more years of that. There won’t be much of a country left.

  24. Mitch
    October 23, 2012 at 6:59 am

We need dubya back, but those silly Republicans never even mention his name. Now there was a ‘Merican President. Fuck drone strikes, send the entahr military! And don’t worry bout which country, neither, so long as you find one with swarthy people that use the wrong word for the almighty.

And talk about grace under pressure. How many commanders in chief do you think could have kept reading My Little Pony to schoolkids when finding out Jew York City was under attack, to avoid scaring the little children. What a man! What a man!! And he looked mighty fine in his naval aviator flight suit when he declared Mission Accomplished. Reminded me of Tom Cruise.

“By the closing years of the politically and socially unstable Late Republic, gladiator games provided their sponsors with extravagantly expensive but effective opportunities for self-promotion while offering cheap, exciting entertainment to their clients.[27] Gladiators became big business for trainers and owners, for politicians on the make and those who had reached the top. A politically ambitious privatus (private citizen) might postpone his deceased father’s munus to the election season, when a generous show might drum up votes; those in power and those seeking it needed the support of the plebeians and their tribunes, whose votes might be won with an exceptionally spectacular show, sometimes even the mere promise of one.” –Wikipedia on Gladiators

Romney was presidential last night, Obama was insulting rude & petulant. Obama appealed to the far left posting here but is turning off the moderate voters.

If your idea of presidential is “Yeah, what he said,” #26. I do have to hand it to Mitt though, It can’t be easy to claim you support the same policies as your opponent (even if you hadn’t been spouting the opposite for years) while criticizing him for the same policies. If he’s lucky the people who haven’t been paying enough attention to make a choice until now are too stupid and ill informed to know anything about his “all over the map” policies. But I don’t think he’s that lucky.

Under obummer the Federal deficit has been over 1 trillion dollars a year. I he get’s reelected what has he demonstrated that he will do differently the next four years ? Nothing. The debt would be over 20 trillion dollars at the end of his second term. That’s a big problem for the United States and a big problem for the rest of the world. I’m voting for Romney/Ryan to give us a chance for our way of life in America to survive.

  32. October 23, 2012 at 1:14 pm

Who’s this ‘our’, as in ‘our way of life’, HUUFC?

Also, which party’s stated intentions and actual policies created the debt?

Which party and its group then created the crash of economics which required reaching further with debt to survive and rebuild?

You saw last night the grit and determination and capacity of the person whose efforts have allowed us to dig out.

I think I’d much wish to continue with him as the navigator and negotiator of what happens next, which I think will be a boon to us all.

You’re welcome to your own opinion, of course.

  33. October 23, 2012 at 1:22 pm

Wow, “killing” a guy that died of kidney failure nearly 9 years earlier, that took alot of…mythmaking and collusion by the corporate media. And a public asleep at the wheel…

That Mittens likewise goes along with that absurd tale shows once again that they’re both cut from the same jackboot…

I think Terry’s point is that George W. Bush killed Osama bin Laden, but the corporate media convinced us all that he was still alive. Why? So that one of their creations (Obama, not Romney) could then convince us all that he’d killed him. Makes perfect sense to me, I’ve yet to see Obama in a naval aviator flight suit.

Mitch……you do know that George Bush hasn’t been in office for nearly four years, don’t you? Pretty pathetic that you bring his name in every chance you get.
You libs really are running scared.

  36. October 23, 2012 at 2:42 pm

The social programs were NOT the problem. The corrupt government looting all the money was. Which is why the Republicans are after what little is left in this country. It’s the only way they know how to fund war. Maybe they can keep everything afloat until Jesus comes and whisks them all away.

W ruined the American economy and we are trying to forget about this, or at least we are trying to get the voters to forget W burned down the house. What we are trying to do is blame the firefighter, we are calling the firefighter a Kenyan Born Terrorist, that’s our story and we are sticking to it. Vote for Bonino for more jobs in the Third World and more minimum wage jobs in Eureka.

Why would Bush kill someone his family had long had business relationships with?
    https://www.google.com/search?q=bush+bin+laden+business

And he took care of OBL’s family.
    https://www.google.com/search?q=bin+laden+family+flight

No, do your homework, OBL died of natural causes, most likely kidney failure. Very well documented from conventional sources in Griffin’s book and elsewhere.

Obummer, Mittens–They’re on the same team. A fight as real as professional wrestling.

    Terry,

You’re 100% correct about the Bush family. We have no disagreement there at all.

As for Obama and Mittens being on the same team, I would describe it differently, in less conspiratorial terms. I’d say they are under the same constraints. That’s the reality — you don’t please the top one percent of the top one percent, you don’t become President of this country. But within those constraints, Obama is someone who wants to help those who struggle, and Romney is someone content to kick them in the balls. They are not the same, and it’s an extraordinary insult to a man like Obama, who is trying to do his best within the constraints, to compare him to an opportunistic liar like Romney.
