Too bad you can’t buy a sense of humor at Walmart. If you think the nonsense posted at that blog you linked (they put Hitler mustaches on all the photos of Obama FFS!) has any relation to reality, you have lost what little mind you were born with.

PonderZZZZZZ should be offended by that blog’s use of the “Retard” word in their headline.

I’m unclear whether The Fine Report represents genuine Republican thinking, or is a deliberate attempt by Democrats to make Republicans look like unsavory, perverse human beings.

  5. October 29, 2012 at 8:24 am

Either way it hits the mark!

This is certainly up to the standards of this blog and all you leftist zombies.

Yeah, it’s leftist zombies who can’t remember where their candidate said they stood on vitally important issues last month, let alone last year.

This is certainly up to the standards of this blog and all you leftist zombies.

When did the conservative movement completely abandon all sense of humor? When Dennis Miller gave up being funny?

I remember the old days when Heraldo would delete blatantly racist posts.

  10. October 29, 2012 at 1:35 pm

Eric: the dehumor date appears approximately last week.

Righter letters on for instance Paul Krugman’s blog (passed by it this weekend for a moment) have become written start to finish in rage, and especially liking to include those making-thing-up stories that bear no resemblance to any knowledge or truth.

My opinion is probably Freudian: right smell consipiracies in everything, because they are so often in conspiracy themselves.

Their present is very far from a republican party my father preferred in its times, that is for sure. Much more like the one Teddy Roosevelt bailed from.

The last days before an election, definitely the dog days not in August.

    The racist post is gone.

Obama is going to be squished by Romney, and when he does you will do what the Upper Class says because their mental capacity is far superior, and the Experience is uncomparaible to the lower class. What we say goes and pushes our Future forward for Eternaity.

Freaking out? The most hysterical post (not funny) is #12.

PJ – I’m pretty sure #12 was written by a lefty trying to be cute.

Unfortunately PJ lefties are neither cute or sane. To damn bad that my-my-my generation went so f’ing off their rocker. No humor,no tolerance,no class. “touch your head”.

    # 12 is probably a Megans Law fugitive…Romney doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell in winning…LOL!

Claiming half the U.S. voters are “brain dead”, (for supporting Romney) is as bad as Romney claiming that the 47% of Americans who don’t pay taxes are moochers. If Romney’s bigotry received the media headlines it deserved, his “brain dead” retiree supporters would drop him tomorrow…many pay no taxes, they already paid a working-life’s worth!

If Mitch spent any time signing up first-time voters, (inspired by Eureka’s new Fair Wage Initiative), he would understand that citizens lack education, not intelligence! We can add America’s lack of an informed citizenry to every other category of modern society we’re dead-last in!

Where else but in the U.S., (where a public university degree qualifies you as a taxi-driver), can psychologists find ample resources to win a Nobel Prize for discovering a new psychosis we used to dismiss as “arrogance”, (The Dunning-Kruger Effect)?

    “We?” Ha!

Whedon is not someone I pay a lot of attention to, and I sure as hell don’t care about his politics.

Well I pay a lot of attention to him. I thought Firefly was the best written science fiction series, maybe just too far ahead of its time to make the ratings. Ironically, the series had a kind of conservative view of human nature, with the politics more libertarian than liberal.

But what makes his work is the dark humor. That’s what makes this video.

Here Here! (both on Firefly and dark humor). I’ve watched this video half a dozen times already and I think it’s hilarious.

But I can see how the Zomney… er…. Romney supporters would be mad. It’s so darn effective in summing up their candidate.

  24. October 30, 2012 at 10:02 pm

I liked “Firefly,” “Avengers,” “Astonishing X-Men.” The rest of his work, though, bleh.

It’s easy to dismiss Buffy. But when I sat down and watched the whole series in order, I saw the subtext everyone was talking about. My brother insisted that I wasn’t giving it the consideration it deserved by watching isolated episodes. I became engrossed it the series, and the Angel spinoff.

I’m not sure what else he’s done. Dollhouse had potential, but I think he rushed the conclusion knowing he was going to be cancelled.

Haven’t seen Astonishing X-men, though I did see clips of the art. Maybe if it’s on Netflix I’ll check it out.

    What else has he done?

Joss Whedon should stick to writing his hack TV shows & B movies. This video isn’t funny and sounds like it was written by a high school sophomore.

Like I said, I think the right wing gave up humor when Dennis Miller stopped being funny. I wonder if it’s a holdover from the old Puritan take against humor because it undermines a fear of God.

Thanks to the Calvinists we’ve suffered 100 years of the “positive thinking” backlash when we should have been getting very very angry at the greedheads in the nation and our community.
