Secret docs show FBI, DHS, corporate security worked together to treat Occupy protests as criminal

“This production [of government documents], which we believe is just the tip of the iceberg, is a window into the nationwide scope of the FBI’s surveillance, monitoring, and reporting on peaceful protestors organizing with the Occupy movement,” stated Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, Executive Director of the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund (PCJF).  “These documents show that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security are treating protests against the corporate and banking structure of America as potential criminal and terrorist activity.  These documents also show these federal agencies functioning as a de facto intelligence arm of Wall Street and Corporate America.”

Like this is the first time? Hoover did it to 100,000 veterans looking to collect benefits sooner than promised and when the group broke up and only 10,000 veterans still angry remained they were beat and two killed by police and the then military. So really, has anything changed?

Hellooooooo. I agree with first post (Charlie Bean), learn your history. Nothing has changed, unless the people make the change. There are more of US, but they know WE won’t do anything about it in any great numbers. Read or watch “The Untold History of the United States”, it needs to be read and studied in Public School’s. We need to teach our children well without omissions of our history, good or bad. Just go back to the 1st and 2nd “Red” scare in America, then move forward, nothing has changed. Its called power and control, not WE the People.

It’s not like it should be any secret. They’ve just extended the easing of easedropping and indefinite detention of Americans. Probably much more to come:

So I ask the question again, What´s the difference between Democrats and Republicans, other than President Obama has ALREADY ordered 4 times as many Drone strikes than President Bush did in 8 years in office?
¨GOP and Feinstein join to fulfill Obama’s demand for renewed warrantless eavesdropping¨

When it comes to the U.S. Senate, at least, I’d say not much. I’ve always read the U.S. Senate was the “…the more deliberative body of congress…”. I’d say it’s more than clear from what I’ve been seeing over the last decade or two the Senate is the more Authoritarian branch of congress as they seem to always differ to more government power.

Yet Feinstein gets elected time and time again.

Fewer Americans can afford to travel or even hold onto their home, many are living in fear of uninsured illnesses, this explains the unprecedented preventative-repression by various agencies and business interests using technology unimaginable not long ago.

EVERY popular movement is a potential threat to the status-quo when more than half the eligible voters abstain.

The differences with China rapidly narrow and the media sleeps.

Exercising your guaranteed, legal and free rights makes you a terrorist threat and a criminal in these United States, including Eureka CA. If you don’t believe that just ask Murl Harpham.

Welcome to fascism! What else can you call it when an arm of the Government (FBI) meets with corporate leaders to discuss surveillance/ suppression of the people’s free speech?
