Isn’t it risky to fire him before/until/without a guilty verdict?

Congratulations to the Blue Lake City Council for listening to the people of Blue Lake. This decision was not made quickly nor without extensive legal counsel. Bye, bye Gundersen. Time for a change on many levels in our city.

I jump for joy hearing this guy is in jail. Anytime a law enforcement officer finally gets his due is a great day in America.

To bad members of the Humboldt County Sheriffs Drug Task Force aren’t rotting in there with him.

I know! Let’s overthrow ALL lawful authority and let anarchists rule the world!

Because this bad apple proves all cops are bad, doesn’t it? No?

They all all hypocrites as far I’m concerned. I hope he loves that taste of hypocrisy when he’s tossing salads.

    Peace be with you

“Let’s overthrow ALL lawful authority and let anarchists rule the world!”

It’s the right answer, but I hope by “overthrow” you mean non-violent resistance.

7:16, an employer doesn’t have to wait for a criminal conviction
in order to remove an employee, especially in a high-risk situation like this. Criminal standard is “beyond a reasonable doubt”. Personnel law standard is that the Er’s actions must be “reasonable”. He should have been out long ago.
